Stress Management Programme
Stress is a phenomenon that can be physically, psychologically and emotionally damaging. Certain populations working within the social and health care professions are particularly susceptible to the negative consequences of stress. This 2-week programme comprises evidence-based stress management techniques, and the online stress management intervention has been tailored by Kate Barrett and Dr. Ian Stewart from the National University of Ireland, Galway. It seeks to reduce the negative aspects of stress by getting you to reconceptualise how you think about stress, and be more aware and accepting of the thoughts, emotions and sensations surrounding the stress experience.
