Stress is a phenomenon that can be physically, psychologically and emotionally damaging. Certain populations working within the social and health care professions are particularly susceptible to the negative consequences of stress. This 2-week programme comprises evidence-based stress management techniques, and has been tailored by Kate Barrett and Dr. Ian Stewart, from the National University of Ireland, Galway. This online stress management programme seeks to reduce the negative aspects of stress by getting you to: (i) identify your symptoms and sources of job stress, (ii) motivate yourself to take control of your job stress, and (iii) pace and balance yourself.
